Circle turned out to be psychologically the most comfortable figure for perception. Absence of acute angles makes people think of non-aggresion and constancy. Circle elements can be successfully implemented in flat website design and look there great and harmoniously.
As it was mentioned by Rob Bowen in his article “How to use circles in website design”, circles are a relatively new development in web design. The author also advises to use this figure considerably and with no excessive use. There are several website elements described that can be fulfilled in the form of a circle.
