Hey Kerry,
Welcome to DC. DesignContest doesn't take any commission off your prize. So, if you see a contest for let's say $223 - you will get exactly that much if you win. There are certain fees when you are requesting a payout (via PayPal for example). Check your FINANCES tab and you can see how much depending on the payout method.
