Newbie needs help

Hi, I'm new here. I need some help please.

Concerning source files, do they have to be in vector form for all contests, or is it only for logos? For example, for a poster, can it be in rasterized form, if it was done in photoshop?

I went through the Help pages, but I found only about logos, which need to be in vector.

Logos are MUST in a vector format. 

Posters are usually made in PSD, or can be made in Ai or InDesign, but even then Photoshop is the main tool.
