To create a banner in Fireworks
1 .Open your Adobe Fireworks and select File->New. Type in width and height value like 468 x 60 for the banner and then click the radio button beside the canvas color option you choose. Click "OK".
2 .Click either the "Rounded Rectangle" or the "Rectangle" tool and click and drag the mouse over your canvas to create your shape.
3.Click on the "Fill Color" option from the "Properties" inspector in order to add a shade. You can apply a special effect, like "Radial Gradient," by choosing the style from the "Fill category" drop-down menu.
4.Add any image by going to file->Import and then clicking on the image you and then clicking Open. Then click and drag the mouse over your banner to insert your image.
5.Click the Text tool and type in your content on your banner. Select your entry and format , such as the "Alignment," "Horizontal Scale" from the "Properties" inspector.
6.go to file-> "Image Preview" under and select a format from the format drop down menu, like "JPEG.
7.Go to file-> "Save As" . Name your file and then save it as a "Fireworks PNG".
