How to match colors between CorelDRAW and Photoshop?

Hi everyone,

I have created a logo in CorelDRAW. Exported to eps. Now, as some of what to work on Photoshop and upload this logo, but the colors do not match and their codes have been CorelDRAW program. So ... How to match colors that uniform in both programs?

I don't know much about CorelDraw, but the color difference you see may be because 2 different color profiles are being used (Corel and PS using different ones), so you get a color shift. Did you embed a color profile onto the eps?

You see, I did logo CorelDRAW program, and it took me to upload it to the photoshop program. The CorelDRAW program exported to eps. And ... different colors and their codes. Photoshop logo in color much more beautiful color than the CorelDRAW program. How do these colors to match the uniform in both programs? I do not know as spelled out the problem. Write to if not understandable I have outlined the problem.

When you say "codes" do you mean color values? Like CMYK numbers are different in Photoshop than Corel?

If you can, upload a screen cap of your color management settings in Photoshop (Edit>Color Settings, and then click the "More Options" button) and in CorelDraw (I think it is Tools>Color Management>Default Settings).

If you can do that I might be able to help

For example. Photoshop program I brought Color C:38 M:0 Y:100 K:0. But when the color of the CorelDRAW program to load, there is a difference than a photoshop program in object color. Is this to be so? How to match the colors?

This sounds like a color management or color rendering problem. I need to see your color management settings for both CorelDraw and Photoshop. Can you upload a screen cap? Sorry I can't help with this problem without looking at your settings :S

I understood what you meant before, I just need to see your color management settings before I can help

hmm the CorelDraw color management window is confusing.. I don't know what all the pictures and arrows are for :confused:

Did you do Tools>Color Management>Default Settings?

Yes, I did Tools>Color Management>Default Settings, as you and posting. Could this be a computer problem or a problem of the program?
Is what you've downloaded, shows black window.

This is most likely a problem with the color profile. The color profile and the rendering intent should be the same in both Corel and Photoshop. If they are not the same, then colors will change between programs, which is what is happening with your file. I don't have Corel so I am not sure how it works. I'm sorry

I would like to share my experience.
If the colour values that you use are same in Photoshop as well as in Corel draw... it will have a difference no matter what.
But you need not worry because the difference is visible only on the screen. Once it gets printed ... the colour values will appear absolutely same in both cases. On screen it will differ...but on print it will be be same.

And how will I know if I have correctly selects the color or color combinations? If I have a client will send one form of design, and he will see the different... it wrong then.

It depends on how the file is printed, but the different colour values can affect what it will look like when it's printed if 2 different colour profiles are used. To get it so they are both the same, they must either share the same colour profile, share no profile (no colour management), or have the printer colour manage the file

One last thing you can try... in Photoshop: Edit>Assign Profile, then choose "Don't Color Manage This Document"
