still confused? in illustrator. see the help index and look for 'spot icon', this will help determine (a guide icon) if you are using which type of colour.

Thanks geek for all the sites, I definitely learned something. I'm not heavy into printing but may be in the future on my own and also right now if/when I finally get a job, so all of that's good knowledge.

Im a little late on this one but I wanted to say... DirectorSpence, that is amazing!!!... I love it! 
... he can also defend himself or atack by drawing stuff on the tablet!... his main superpower must be to draw really fast!, like you! .

Hope i can find more time... i'm in a rush of everything. My wife just gave birth and i have to cope up with some clients. Once everything are settled, i'll post my idea.... i'm working on the deadlines.

I am new to all of this, and an by no means an artist, but I thought I would give this a go. I am pretty sure I broke the rules on the colors. That whole panatone spot colors stuff completely blew my mind. Maybe you guys can help me get it right? Maybe?
Anyway, this character "The Evil Dr. Designo" is a bit of a wierdo. He has no feet, so he has to scoot about on a severely oversized mouse (wireless of course). He is a complete style freak and gets pretty upset when people comment on his crazy blue hair. He completely humiliates his enemies by spattering them with balls of blue and red paint.
Let me know what you think. I am by no means an artist, but I enjoy tinkering about with this stuff.

It's nice however I wouldn't use gradients. We are trying to use no more than 5 colors. Also, perhaps put some more detail into the hand. Btw, I like your use of gradients to create shadow's but you can use other colors to do the same. Looking pretty good so far.
Perhaps, for the underline under the "action" you can make a swish as opposed t o the curent, mark next to it. Just a suggestion!
