After a long delay we have a new contest. The Idea suggested by IntuitDesign "The Truth Is In You" is inspired by X-Files' "The Truth Is Out There". The idea is very simple - design a poster with whatever coming into your mind when you read "The Truth Is In You". The contest will run for 2 weeks and will end onoctober 7, 2005. Please, feel free to comment on each other's entries and give constructive critisism.
The winner of the contest will get our own DC t-shirt with free delivery all over the world!

Seeing how I am new to this community and I do not know any standards your community may have, are there dimensions specs for this type of contest? And I think I read this right, but is everyone allowed to enter? Even us peons?

Has this been discussed previously? I have the opinion that x-files is a subject so "2-years-ago" that something more imaginative should be considered.

actually x-files has very little to do with this contest. It's just the subject reminds of their catch phrase and that's it. Here you are not limited by anything and the poster doen't have to follow x-files style or any other style either.
You are also free to use or not the phrase itself in your design.

hello dbantner,
i think if you rename your image file to something that has no spaces in it, such as 'truth_in_you.jpg', then reupload, it should be fine. Servers don't like spaces in titles of files.

I am really excited to see all the different results! This theme can be spiritual, supernatural, enchanted, new age; anything that comes to mind when you think of where truth lives. Here is my 1st interpretation:

hi there´s mine. In some cases an open hand is relationed with the truth.
What i represented here is a map on the background, and the hand is like a part of it, a map gives an a idea of certainty. The light on the hand is just to add an esoteric touch there.
I noticed five words "The-truth-is-on-you" to five fingers so i did that of putting a word by each finger.
