The big question is which clipart we can used for something? And the problem is embeding too. Example, if we want to make a silhouette from that, some of embeded functions can´t correctly to work, and we have a craisy embeding.

Some Clipart looks as JPEG, so we can only to draw on them, nothing more.

Clipart isn´t for a logo, except if he is a silhouette in a black colour

No Kris, you are wrong.
clip art/vector silhouette can not be included in the logo, unless you created it all by yourself or from personal photo (non- shareable/non-distributed).

i'm new here, but i totes agree. i've been a freelance designer now for 10+ years, and still watch my jaw drop when i see pieces that look straight from a cd, while the few uploads i have offered have been all sketches right from my book...

I think all cliparts must die. Exept for a templates of envelopes, folders, cd, dvd. blue-ray, red-ray, black-ray, packs or something.

clipart is a good as silhouette, not as full clipart, but he is a good sometime for child product logo design, but must be careful! No too childed clipart style sure! Clipart in fact cant be a part of logo design at all!

clipart, yes as silhouette, because you can embed that and make the logo, but not clipart as full part!

I submitted the design that I created and got Infraction because it looked like clipart. Now I google the element doesn't look similar to any clipart.

No to clip-art any way... If we are using clip-art, we are not a professional logo designer. CAdesign, if you talked to moderator and show them your vector file hope they understand. I am also new here by the way but I find the support staff very cooperative and understanding.

You are allright, but in a some of company that we can see, it´s not to hard to know what is the clipart. Clipart in the full concept can´t be a logo design, the problem is colors, style, look so stupid, funny, childish... I don´t like the clipart in this principe, but for some detail of silhouette, and must be with correction, differently too.
