To remove the title from a home page in Joomla do the following
1. From your Joomla! administrator Go to "Site" -> "Global Configuration" . you will you’re your site name under "Site," you can change the title or keep it blank to remove the site name from the Web browsers
2. Go to "Menu" -> "mainmenu" to display the options for the homepage. Go to "Home" link where you can change how the elements display on your home page.
3. under "Parameters" Select "Hide," located next to the "Page Title" option. This will hide your site title from displaying on the main page. If you don't want the headers for your content sections to show, scroll down then change the option "Section name" to Hide.If you want to hide all of titles on your home page, change the option "Item titles" to Hide.
