Corel Draw’s smudge tool enables users to reshape the outline of vector objects by dragging the object’s outline inward or outward.
To smudge a vector object do the following:
1. From the main toolbar, select the "Pick" tool ( the "Pick" tool looks like a white arrow).
2. Click on the object you want to smudge.
3. From the toolbar, click on the "Shape Edit" button and select the "Smudge Brush" tool (the "Smudge Brush" tool is resembled by the tip of a cotton swab).
4. Now click the vector object and drag it.
5. To make an outward smudge, click in the object and then drag the mouse outward.
6. To create an inward smudge, click outside the object and drag the mouse inward.
