CorelDraw gives the designer more freedom, it's powerful, it's also quicker, simple and easy to use for all. Illustrator uses different manner, it's more difficult in therms of e.g. adding effects, gradients, font editing, it's slower than CorelDraw. I have to do several clicks in Illustrator to achive something that I can achieve in Corel in one click. That's my opinion

Illustrator problem in relation to Corel knows to be guilty and manipulation, for example, illustrator can not blame the one and also the other side, but only one, while in Corel can blame both sides. Therefore, Corel has significant advantages in manipulating the guilty and is very accurate.

the second differents or problem is
On the other hand there is another difference with Corel and Illustrator
Corel can not color-separated objects as semi colored objects and illustrator can not even object closed-this is very interesting, even when the import with Core illustrator in this process as eps, it can also paint the sea, and not Corel. It can quit any time trajectory semi object in Illustrator whenever you want.

Corel Draw seems more reliable, easier to work with him, whatever graphics you want to get them. There is so messed up in orders, should not go through many steps to get a gradient color or transparency, shadow etc.. Therefore, Corel Draw seems handy, easy to learn and to work with him.

I had a much quicker time learning the intermediate level design techniques that CorelDraw offers. Some say Illustrator is far more powerful once mastered so I do implement them both into my designs on occasion. I prefer CorelDraw though because I am able to learn and create objects far faster. Also Corel's text/font feature for me is much easier to use.
