I think we will always have this kind of overlap thing when we set the post count back to zero. In the past the entry wasn't deleted if the CH had seen it.

I wonder if there is some kind of "review" the registered members would have to go through. For example once the 10 posts were made a message is sent out to admins/mods. Once the posts are checked out they then can post an entry. Would something like that work?

Sharie,

Take a look at this thread, please. http://www.designcon...ead.php?t=16066

In this case, no automation is necessary. It up to the registered member to follow procedure if he want it be an entrant in the in the contests.

regards
Paulo

LMAO.. yeah I've kept my responses "G"rated for now.
I'm starting to think a 1 day ban for postpadders that have to set to zero or the one I delet since I can't set them to zero. ;)

I'm serious... I spend well over 2 +/- hours a day just going through new post just havning to delete them for being crap or someone posting 8 posts in 10minutes. Then having to delet their contest entries cause they can't follow the rules.. or even take the time to read the rules.. cause after I check their entries they have gray scale in the B&W section not using a canvas and so forth..

IT's GETTING OLD..

The boss is away for a bit and I just might have to start implmenting my plan.. mmuuaaaahhhahahahahaha *we need a devil smiley*

I like that idea. I spend more time going through and deleting bad posts, and then searching for contest entries for that person that need to be deleted - I never have time to enter contests anymore or participate in the forum myself, and those are the real reasons I came to DC. (it starts to feel like being a moderator is like punishment of some sort!)

Today I start giving 20point infractions and a 1 day ban to all users that are padding posts just to enter contests.

*just want to add; I've done this on my own without concent of my "boss/owner of DC".. If he disagree's with this I take full responsibility.
