I've been finding myself wishing the contest list pages had one more additional column: the best-ranked entry's rating points.
A new column could be helpful for both designers and contest holders. Designers would have a way of quickly ascertaining which contests are still "up for grabs"  contests whose holders haven't yet seen many favorable entries and have rated them, at most, 10-20 points, for instance. If that information were shown on the list page, designers could see at a glance which contests were still developing, as opposed to which contests had established, well-rated entries (95+ points, for instance). I believe most designers already pay attention to this information when choosing what to enter, so this would just make it easier on them. (This might also encourage some contest holders to actually use the rating feature mid-contest, which I've noticed is sometimes a problem.)
What do you think?
