1.Representative Symbols
A good icon should represent the content. Do not use abstract icons except if it’s needed.
2.Make use of vector shapes since they provide better result and are easy to align.
3. Make simple and clean icons so that your icon is easy and quick to get.
4. Do not use too many words inside icons. Try not to use more than 5 letters.
5. When it comes to icon sets, every icon should be distinct and related to a specific function. This makes it easy to differentiate between them.
