As apps has become more and more popular, logo designers have to take it into account. So transparency overlays and glossiness are the key words. But at the same time you have to stay simple and clean as possible I think.
It is necessary to design a logo which is suitable for different fields (logo for web, logo for print, app or icon).

I feel like the hipster brewery type seals are beginning to catch on. Instead of a digital look, many companies are reaching for something a little more tangible-something that tells a story.

love the hipster logo guide. I love flat logos, my favourite are flat and one colour. I love the museo font too these days, it is one of my favourites.

i realize since windows phone trend with metro style and then now ios7 more likely metro with flat color and tranparency.. and yahoo change logo with light sans serif font.. from the icon n logo is more simple and have simplicity feel.. that's what i think
