•Both devices are small and light however the iPad Mini is thinner and lighter with the dimensions 200 x 134.7 x 7.2mm, and weighing 308g compared to the Nexus 7 ( dimensions 198.5 x 120 x 10.5mm), and weighing 340g.
•The iPad Mini is works on Apple’s A5 dual-core chipset. There are three storage options for the device 16,32 or 64 GB. Whereas Nexus 7 is uses NVIDIA Tegra 3 chipset which has a quad-core 1.3GHz Cortex-A9 CPU as well as a ULP GeForce GPU and it comes with either 8or 16GB of storage. Both devices don’t support micro SD cards.
•Regarding display, iPad Mini has a 7.9 inch LED backlit IPS screen with a 768x1024 resolution while Nexus 7 has a 7 inch LED backlit IPS LCD with 800x1280 resolution.
•The iPad Mini uses version 6.0 of iOS platform, which is still easy to pick up and looks great and polished at the same time. However it lacks real time information, widges and customizations options. The device gives users access to the App store, which is full of applications and also has iTunes for your media.
•The iPad Mini has a 5 megapixel and a VGA front facing camera while Nexus 7 has a simple 1.2-megapixel front facing camera.

Thanks for sharing such an elaborate information on smart devices that are introduced by Apple and Google. The mentioned features are really helpful for users who are planning to buy either of these two devices. Apart from the mentioned features, these devices have cellular Wi-Fi connection and in addition to this, Apple iPad Mini have one of the best features which is does not exist in Google Nexus 7 i.e. Siri.
