How to take fireworks photos

•If you have a compact digital camera with different scene modes, you would simply set your camera to the Fireworks mode and your camera will automatically use a slower shutter speed. Keep in mind that you need to keep your camera very steady in order to prevent blur.
• If your camera doesn’t have different scene modes, simply set your camera to the Landscape mode, and cover the camera’s lens with your hand at the exact same moment you press your shutter release .
•If you are using a DSLR, use the manual exposure controls setting the manual mode. The start with f/8 and 2 sec and if you want brighter shots, open the aperture and make the f number smaller

I take pictures with a compact digital camera. I use Fireworks mode, but I need a tripod, otherwise I take a picture blurry.
