Here's a character for a logo I'm working on today. I started this yesterday - luckily the client was quick with comments, so I was able to move along pretty quickly. I started with two initial characters. (I had spent some time last week looking at samples that the client liked, as well as finding my own samples to look at to see what was already done / "out there") I sent her the roughs and she sent me back a list of what she did / didn't like. I incorporated those changes into the next round and she picked the one on the left. I then tweaked some more and sent her the bottom left version. She had some very minor changes - I added a necklace and then did the "final ink" (although it was all done in illustrator as vector) this afternoon.
The rest of the logo won't move this fast, she wanted the character fairly quick for some event coming up. Just thought I'd share.
(sorry about the red hatch lines - didn't want any sneaky sneaks "borrowing" anything.)
