To be honest, I do not use "friends communication" feature at all. I did tried when it first started. But, you can communicate with who you want, for any matter if you like. Regarding the forum, it is a good thing. It's place where you can learn about current stuff regarding DC (e.g. vote for winner at abandoned contest, contests with certain problems, report copies and vote in Designer's Court, ask for the help regarding designing... an...

I don't think the points are being applied yet. I think once they update our new portfolio pages, the point system will return. For now, I think the points are just running in the background, so we can't see them?? Hopefully, all our points since the website upgrade, will update accurately.

I liked those entries too with the alpaca that looked like a pen&ink drawing. I think the designer was a guy, I seem to remember him mentioning he entered the contest because his wife likes to knit, so he had an interest in created a logo for alpaca wool. :)
