I am new here and as I look around it seems most of the converstion and instructions are geared towards the artists and not much guidance is given to the contest holders. If I wasn't specifically refered here by a friend I would have moved on and not bothered to hold a contest.
A confused mind doesn't act. If you want more contests you need more help for contest holders.
Perhaps there should be a separate help forum for holders vs artists.

I'm not a contest holder myself (obviously) but I just discovered this for myself yesterday, as I was about to refer this site to a client. When visiting the main page, I would (as a client) expect to find information relevant to me on the FAQ and Guidelines pages, but there is only information for designers on those pages. I was surprised to find the information I was looking for was only on the Terms of Service page, linked at the bottom of the Start a Contest page. This should definitely be easier to find, and maybe in a FAQ format.

Hi Ned. Thank you for the suggestion. We could certainly arrange more content for contest holders if it's required. To be more precise, what kind of things were you looking for and didn't find?
Some specific suggestions:
1)There is no link back to the home page from the forums, add one.
2)There is a different FAQ on the home page than the forum. Link them or make them the same. Earlier this week I was looking for some contest info that I had read before and couldn't find it.
3) It seems that the information for contest holders is spread throughout the site and there is no one clear place to find answers.
4) Some of the rules aren't clear. You talk about typically a contest is two weeks but don't give specific parameters of how long or short a contest can be.
These are just some ideas off the top of my head. I can tell you again, If i wasn't specifically referred here, I would have left without really getting an clear idea of how this site could help me.
