I dig it. But agree with the comment about distinct motion blur and the gray background seems a bit too morose.

Hey I'm back with yet another cover for a magazine. Because of the success and creativity of my Dad's biking cover, my Mom suggested I do one for my cousin who is getting married soon. Granted, I wasn't quite sure if this would be appropriate for the occasion, I had a lot of support behind it so here's what I came up with. I wanted to try and keep it simple and not overbearing like many tabloids are with their crazy headlines and the like. Tell me what you think! Thanks again!

PS: Sorry the image is so big but it works well if you save it first then open it up in your own image preview.

maybe more intense of a shadow on "EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK at Aimee & Scott". But, yeah, it's very classy and not tabloid-ey.
btw, I think this is a great idea. My friends just got married and I just got them a doormat. Now I know better.

Nice start. Some suggestions: The placement of the type feels kind of random. Maybe you should align alle the type to the left. Also theres not alot of space between the type and the edge of the cover. Good luck and keep up the good work.

Hi, great idea. love the concept you have used, as many have said above i would leave it the way it is, to me it looks better than many mags on the shelves now.

it looks very professional, definitely something i'd be intrigued to pickup at a magazine stand. The choice of colours work very well for this piece.

good! but I think that the font need more "rythm". Variables sizes, that make a reading way throught the cover.

Great design!!!!!

The only suggestion I have is to add more colour to the background. This should make it stand out from other magazines

Extremely good cover. Just some details i think you could cover, small stuff (sorry for being that much of a picky dude):
the margins on the left and right titles could be the same. And you could align the top of the second title (TOUR DE FRANCE) with the base of the first one (MARK BENNET).

I would suggest to change the font of "tour de france", give more contrast by adding another color and also by putting more titles in the cover...

I love the "Something Blue" cover. Very nice choice of color palette. My only perspective is I think the "Exclusive First Look" lines get a bit lost while overlapping the photo and frame. And maybe make Aimee and Scott's names a little bigger and more noticeable (from my experience, people LOVE to see their names in print!)... Drop the "Best Wedding Locations" liners down just a tad to add more white space effect under the flowers... and you're good to go!

Great work!

That's a great idea for a present. I like the colors but I'd like to see a little more type on the cover. Great photo also, and I like the vector behind his leg.
