I invite you to discover an illustrator I am a great admirer of his work, her style really funny but it keeps a large imprint Japanese.

Oh yes, I went to one of her exhibits. Her posters are really great to look at from close when in huge format. Lol whats funny is that she is always confused with the hello kitty creator.

Some of her work reminds me of Dr. Seuss a lot as well.

Having been recognized as one of “100 Japanese People the World Respects”, Yuko Shimizu is definitely a woman to be idolized. She knew right from the start, even as a young child, that she has tremendous affection towards illustration. Too bad, her family in Japan was not in favor of her art fascination. She tried to get into other professions but her love for art brought her to where she should really be. It took her several years to gather her strength and let the circumstances take her to her desired career. She’s currently working in a studio located in Manhattan and consistently making a name in the world of art.
