I think this is not a question for graphic designers.
Those who know their job, should not deal with the issue.
I use both (corel more) and for me it's just a tool.

Although many people say that illustrator more cooler than corel, but I prefer to corel because I was more proficient than using Illustrator. but both of them are great because they have advantages and disadvantages of each.

None Perfect One

Thats why i think adobe its more professional, ´cause you can get better results, its harder than corel but you can do anything with better results than corel. I also think that is a matter of taste.

I think it depends on what you're used to. It's just a tool to help you do the job faster. I prefer working with Illustrator.

Well, if all I had to choose between was Corel & Adobe software's, I would choose Adobe. I Honestly like both and Corel even renders in adobe extensions which makes it a hard choice since the biggest obstacle is that adobe extensions are more viewed as industry standards due to the size of it's user base.

When it comes to software's though, it really comes down what a designer is most comfortable using and if the end result is truly ideal for the clients needs.

If I'm not limited between corel and adobe, then I would choose Serif software's. Matter of fact, my primary vector software is Serif DrawPlus x4 and I have been using serif products working on 6 years now. I still own adobe illustrator cs3 as my secondary vector solution, however I'm just a die hard serif user. to each there own though, as you normally won't find 2 seasoned designers that do everything the same, we all develop our own ways of doing things with different tools. :)

thank you... i never heard it before... i'll try it soon

have to use both as all clients have Adobe (mainly because Photoshop is included) Corel is a designer friendly program, you get total control over graphic, tools are more comfortable, and it is faster if you create a vector drawing, deal with fonts, etc., then must go to Adobe for colors as Corel has some color problems...and AI esp is smaller and better...so I use both...but always start with Corel to form my idea and do the hard job...
