I think coreldraw & illustrator all the time best, photoshop, use for picture making

In the past it was very difficult getting a vector to look as if it was created in Ps... But Adobe has changed that with the effects menu and many other ps filters and scripts. All depends on if your going to be enlarging this for large format printing or for various other than RGB or CMYK printing.. embrodery silk screen and the like

BUt oops to answer your question it is similar in many ways like key stroke commands and menu locations but some stuff maybe new.. Not that hard to get adjusted.. Maybe 10 years ago yes but not anymore lol
