Hey i got a few ideas. They are:

µ¹- Create a :Introduction: section to the forums, this way people can tell the other designers about themselves and post some of there work.

µ²- Create a :Chat: section on the forums so people can spk to each other about designing and what ever else they wish to talk about.

µ³- Start a contest :DesignContest.net: and get people to design a site for DesignContest. This way people will get involved and more and more people will want to become a part of the forums/community.

Hope you take note of my suggestion and good luck with this community.

hehe ok i will try think of something for it.

Welcome to DesignContest.net, Dc is a new up and coming design community. We have a new idea we are hoping to try out which is running contests to give everyone a chance of showing off there designs and letting them be used on the world wide web. All people from all countries around the world can choose to run a contest to get something they need. From logos,to fully functional websites. We hope that we can get people working together to create a great design community.

At the current time we are looking for designers to register on our forums to get the new community fullly active. I hope that people enjoy the contests that are going to be running and all designers post your work so everyone knows what kind of designs are out there at the current time. I hope that everyone decides to register on the forums and the contests will be up & running as soon as people start visiting the forums.

i agree with it. making a introduction to the site will really make it better. because makign the main page be the forms is not right it makes the site look alittle nooby like.

another good thing daze said was the contest thats also a good idea.
(lol make them do all the work not you LOL)

and the chat idea is good also but i dont really understand why you would need chat on a site that has forms LOL.

That chat idea is not good. Then people would chat instead of posting.
