New Guidelines/Rules: As of February 1, 2005, the guidelines for all Design Team members, as well as regular forum members, have been altered. Please make sure that you have read and thoroughly understand them before entering any of the contests.
Original Work: Any design that you submit to any of the contests must be 100% your own original creation.
- Premade templates are not allowed - even if you've altered them significantly.
- Clip art/dingbats are not allowed to be used in part or in their entirity for creating business identities/logos.
- When using stock images for website mock-ups/header graphics, etc. make sure that you're well aware of the usage agreement and that you're not in violation of any copyrights.
Similar Designs: - As a professional courtesy, if you see that you have created a design that is very similar to what another designer has already entered into a contest, kindly refrain from posting your design. For more information on this topic please read the Plagiarism Article.
We hope that each designer will strive to present fresh, unique concepts to each one of the design contests.
If you're ever in doubt as to whether you should post something or not, ask one of the Mod's or Admin. prior to posting.
