I vote for AI, but corel is also good. You can make anything in both apps if you know how to

But for beginners i would recommend Adobe Photoshop as its tools are friendly for beginners.

We usually use CorelDraw for converting raster to vector format. It provides good features for conversion.

At one time, this was a very serious question.

Program capabilities leapfrogged each other with every update.

Not so much now.

Each has raster effects with can create downstream issues.

Each has experienced master artist who work them like magic.

Now you need to consider the program which gets the most support in the vender and downstream world.

Which creates the most trouble free files for touch up by third parties?

What is the industry standard?

In short, at some point it is not what you like, but what the rest of the world likes.

In the graphic sea, we do not swim alone.

Old topic,

but I would like to give my opinion.

I use both software and both are good (if you have command of both).

Here I will talk about Corel because many people prefer AI. I think they don't know completely about Corel.

In Corel you can write World's any language like Arabic, Chinese, Hebrew, Russian and etc...

But in AI you can't easily.

In Corel you have built-in Barcode feature and you can make a lot of barcodes just double clicking and edit.

But in Ai you have to purchase Esko barcode.

Corel has many shortcuts like Alignment but AI don't.
