Why different? Because, the company can say that is the clipart-this is the big problem with silhouettes too! The trace effect-heh-ok, trace, but must be redraw and correct with pen tool-direct selection tool, If we make the silhouette form clipart. Today, everything looks as clipart, everything is copyied, and that is the big, big problem. The classic example for clipart is clipart of baby product for some ambalage.

You can redraw the same clipart with small changes of your own. That will work well.

NO this will not work!

ALL logo art is to be oyur OWN artwork, doing minor changes to clipart does NOT make it your work and will not be allowed

NO! Clipart is bad, bad, bad. Create you own graphics in AI to use. Look at a photograph of whatever you are trying to create to use as reference material. But draw/create in AI.

It is too that social media icons have been recognized for everyone and the company want them to be as they are. For Logo design, clip art is bad idea.
