www.sanqunettidesign.com.. Check it out and let me know what you think.
I didnt design the website myself, but I did provide all the button graphics and I did the self portrait on the home page in illustrator and photoshop. Anyway I would really like some feedback on my portfolio pieces and my stock shop...

Very nice site! Simple, clean, and easy to navigate. Good choice of colors. You have a nice artistic style. One thing I might add, is that in the "Stock Shop" the page numbers do not reflect which page I'm currently at when I navigate using the arrows. I also like how you used the repeating element in the background, putting it next to/under/side to your name in the header.
...but then again... you said you didn't make the website, so who am I complementing here?

Has some good things in it.
Good use of colors. Buttons are original, like it!
Dislike the fontface used for the title/subtitle in purple/roze area.
Too unsharp. Doesn't match the clean font used for the lower part of the site (the cleaner font is good!).
The green curly "bar" isn't too sharp too.
It is your portfolio site were you present yourself, so maybe someone else did the work, but I just comment the site
Portfolio:
Some nice works. "Mustang Club" is done cool. Like the style. Comic alike.
"Coronaville" deserves some credit too tasty beer and nicely created.
At which quality do you publish your JPEG-files? They seem a bit blurry to me.
Stocks are just clean stocks. Looking good for their purposes, but I never really get turned on by stocks, so moving on
Summary: Good stuff, update quality a bit though. I really like the clean, general style of the site, except the title font.

Thanks wickedmind.. thats the kind of critique I am looking for.. details. details... good in with the bad I had a web designer to the site itself.. but I created all the illustrations.. portfoilo and buttons.. I told him the look I wanted and he went from there.
I dont rememeber the quality of the jpgs I did, I just try and keep it under 50k for fast load time. The two portfolio pieces that you liked the best were the ones that took me the longest.. so im glad you like!
Thanks for the feedback!

No problem.
Keep in mind that a lot of users these days use ADSL or broadband connections.
Especially, people that are interested in graphic design or companies in search for a designer.
Giving the works a full 100% won't do much damage to an user's loading time.
Keep up with the good work!

thats actually the style I was going for... thats the kind of work I normally like to do, the loose brush stroke style.. Kinda like I do my paintings ,I love to do impressionism.. the loose stuff is my favorate. so thats why I incorporated that into my web site.
But everyone had their different styles, thats why we are all unique artists
