1. Select a colour scheme
The most common colour schemes include:
Red, yellow,white
Black or blue and white
Red, grey and white
Blue, orange and white
Yellow, grey and white.
2 Provide an easy to use navigation system.
Most great looking websites either display their navigation bar on the left or at the top. And since most people are used to this type of navigation, it’s best to stick with it.
3. Don’t go overboard on special effects
4. Backgrounds -ensure your visitors can read the text on the background,
5.External Links -the idea is to open links to other websites (external) in a new window.
6.Site Map & Search Feature
7. Real Content is verry important - While it is important that your website looks clean and professional to be a great website, it is far more important that you concentrate your efforts on the creating useful and unique contents backed by whole hearted promotion using ethical means to gain higher search engine ranking and large volume of relavent visitors.

Another advantage for new wedesign is HTML 5.
Basically HTML5 has it’s many new syntactical features, which include the <video>, <audio>, and <canvas> elements, as well as the integration of SVG content. Due to these new elements, it will be very easy to integrate multimedia and graphical content to web without using flash and third party plugins. There are also another new elements like <section>, <article>, <header> and <nav> which enrich the semantic value of the document. Other major advantages of HTML5 are described below.

I'd like to add one: Always provide some way for the user to contact you. A contact form works best, but your email address will do the job also.

Getting organization web style right can seem a complicated process to someone who knows nothing about web style. However if you are challenge a web style then there are some actions that you can take to help make sure achievements for your website and your organization.

Don't get over committed. Web style for a organization is just that. It shouldn't try to contest with Search engines, the BBC, CNN, CNET or any of the other big websites. Instead begin little and develop up progressively.
Get someone to help you. If you don't know about web style then get an experienced to help. Often individuals think that they can basically buy a design web page off the display and that will be excellent enough. The truth is very different. Developing excellent websites is challenging and specialized, get help.
Small organization web style shouldn't just be about regarding the website. You want to discover and use a organization that are going to help you as your web page develops. So create sure whoever you use has help designed into the program.
Don't get stuck on the design. Some of the best web websites are mostly written text. Think of Search engines almost no graphics! So don't believe those who tell you, you need to have the design to entice - you don't!
Small organization web style needs to take a lengthy lasting perspective. Don't get captured in the snare of getting a web page now and then having to absolutely upgrade the website in 6 several weeks time. Build the website so that it can develop as your web existence develops.
Think about how your web page will connect with your organization. There is no factor in having a web page for your organization if it isn't including value. Determine what that value should be and then evaluate it.
Don't be scared to research. Modify is one of the most powerful factors of the web. Make sure that your organization web style records for that need for change. There is nothing more tedious to guests than watching the same web page they saw 1 season ago.
These 7 guidelines are really just a kick off factor. If you know little about organization web style then you'd be best to discover someone who can help. Often little companies think that it'll be costly to get that help but it doesn't have to be. Look around and you'll discover that you can get discounted prices.
