Being British waking up this morning, just wondering what the world thought of Danny Boyles 'Opening Ceremony'. Did everyone get it? Obviously allot of reference to British History & Culture, Industrial Revolution, NHS, Childrens Literature, TV & Music. They also added a touch of comedy, such as James Bond & the Queen paracuting in. Rowan 'Mr Bean' Atkinson in the orchestra. Also the lighting of the flame was given to athletes of the future rather than a famous Olympian of the past, as is often the case.
Would love to here feedback
