Hi Tusheff,
I did a test regarding your post.
Although I think this task is not useful for an efficient design, I tryed it out just for curiosity.
(try using cropping, intersecting, "pathfinder" options instead)
Results: I was able of (effectivly) powerClipping up to 6 simple drawings (gradient-filled circles). After the number 6, it is not possible editing the powerclipped drawing.
Procedure used:
I drew a big empty circle with an outline.
drew a second circle with conical gradient and 40% substractive opacity (just for a little complexity test)
PowerClipped the smaller filled circle into the big empty one.
Copied the resulting drawing to the clipboard.

Clicked on "edit PowerClip content" option to go into the clipped content.
there, I pasted the drawing from the clipboard and rotated this some degrees for comparing.
Then Clicked on "edit PowerClip content" option for the pasted drawing and so on.

Iterated (prev step) untill powerclipping number 6 when the "edit PowerClipped content" option was just disabled.

Conclusion: Not sure why somebody would want to use unlimited recursive powerclipped objects but .. even though .. in CorelDRAW X6 .. as for the proof shown, there is only possible to do recursive powerClipping by 6 objects one into another.
Perhaps I made technical mistakes or I did not do such an immersive test, so .. Try it yourself and comment back :-)

PS1: accessing "edit PowerClip content" button is too confusing due to it is shown always in the same spot.
PS2: when getting out from one powerclipped content to its container by ctrl+dblclicking repeatedly (unconsciuosly) on an empty workspace area the program crashed! .. so .. do the test on your own responsability
