I have no idea. I know people who make thousands(around 30k) a month thourgh advertising yet, for some reason, although I'm capable of developing a site, I never can...
Any ideas?

Haha, I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated by many people.
It may be rare to actually find something on the internet where you can make plenty of money these days... most of those jobs have already been taken. And they are so well known or are so good at what they do that trying to compete with them would be useless. Unless of course you have connections with someone way up the food chain of internet business. The best hope of making money on the internet is probably through investment and trading. Or try finding a scam that isn't actually a scam.

I think advertising on the internet will become very profitable within the next few years. Marketing firms have not really used the internet to its full potential. People are putting more trust into transactions made over the internet, which means that eventually they'll start putting trust into sponsored ads. We'll just have to wait and see...

yup advertising needs a complete over-haul to become profitable online. At the moment it has huge amounts of bad press (pop-ups, spyware, etc) once however it starts to become properly regulated and used it should be a huge growth industry.
Also CMS systems are starting to lead the way - offering people the ability to build their own website without any techie knowledge at all is becoming very popular

I'd say advertising. One of the richest man in my country is the owner of a very popular search engine/directory listing. He got all the major companies in the country to advertise to his site. However, i think the best business, is where you are good at and you are passionate with.

i think advertising and music, it wont be too long before they legalise the use of downlaods from p2p networks.....maybe im wrong but i dont think so!
Legalize? The Supreme Court (in USA) just shot down things like p2p networks and basically said they're illegal.

at the moment they are illegal but i dont think it will be very long before the legalise it becaue of the sheer popularity, the goverment has no control and weather it is illegal or not i believe people will still use p2p programmes
