i think i prefer peace & quite..more than listening to something, i guess it distract me a little

but if i do, i like to hear mostly sad songs

HI mimoza..for me its silence...sometimes..put a "final"" design on the screen
put some music on and just wiggle before my design and look at it and brainstorm

As for me it depends...
When im focused I don't listen to music I totally forget about everything else but when I dont have a clear ideaon my min music always helps me

I love to hear songs while designing. It amazingly energizes me

and I listen to random songs but I do avoid sad songs, they always ruin my mood and I cant afford that while designing

Sad songs? are ok.. Love songs are ok too.. and lower volume.. It gives me peace to think many things.

alternative songs, energizes for a short span of time. but after 5-10 songs, i end up turning it off. I get stressed. =)
