Apparel: 150ppi
The images that you upload will be converted to 150ppi (pixels per inch) if not already at this resolution. This means every 150 pixels in your image will become 1 inch when printed. For example, if you submit a 1200 pixel by 1500 pixel image for an apparel product, it will be printed at 8" by 10". This is because: 1200 pixels divided by 150 pixels/inch = 8 inches, 1500 pixels divided by 150 pixels/inch = 10 inches.
We recommend that you add images that are smaller than, or equal to, the maximum sizes:
pocket: 600 pixels x 600 pixels = 4" x 4"
horizontal: 2100 pixels x 1800 pixels = 14" x 12"
vertical: 1800 pixels x 2100 pixels = 12" x 14"
If what you are saying is true, and you did give them a 410ppi image (which by the way is an odd number... usually 150, 200, 250 or 300 are standards), then they were forced to shrink that image down.
When shrinking a jpeg (which is a highly compressed file with very little information in it) the image quality is decreased drastically.
edit: I just read your message again. If you orderd an actual print (like a poster) the required resolution is even less... 100ppi.
