Anybody feel like there's too much politics in art these days?

Obviously not an adherant of the subject then?Politics DOES effect on art...there are lots of politic matters happened did huge impact on arts...
How about a contest about seasons of the year...each person have one favourite season right?...this could be nice...

Hmmm, I'm willing to guess it's just a matter of what you look at more (or until someone conducts a survey of all art in the world, hehe). I don't know if there's ever a "too much" of a certain subject matter in art. I'd rather have politics than still life sometimes . . . but that's just me.
