If you need to create your personal favicon from a BMP files, do the following:
1. Select a graphics program that can open BMP formats such as Adobe Photoshop or
2. Go to “File†-> “Open†and browse to your BMP file and open it.
3.Make any changes you want to your BMP file, before you save it.
4.Go to “File†-> “Save As†and select ICO from the “File Type†menu. Choose where you want to save the file and clicj “saveâ€Â
The file will now be saved as ICO format.
