I like it a lot Kokonut. I have a little tidbit of critique though if you don't mind.
I think the M is standing out more than the V. I get that it's a dual visual of M and V but M is what I think first. Since the brand is Veriation Music I'm wanting the V to be what I understand first. The shadows are helping by pushing the M characteristics further into your dark negative space but I think some more differentiation between the V and the M could be beneficial.
In your behance project, the word "music" is in a secondary color of either red-orange or teal-green (depending on your color way). It's just a suggestion, but rendering the V characteristics of your symbol in those secondary colors could boost it's emphasis against the more neutral colors the symbol currently exhibits.
May or may not work but just thought it could benefit from reading more "v" to "m" then "m" to "v".
Thanks for showing us your work your portfolio is very impressive! Thanks also for letting me give you some feedback!

I really like this one. The simplistic design would help it stay firmly in the mind of a consumer. It also just looks beautiful.
To build on it in the future, perhaps try incorporating a secondary color. This should help improve the aesthetic appeal of the design overall.
