I was wondering if you can give me some ideas to use in a logo for a cosmetic company. My ideas are usual and with no inspiration, and i cant force to much cause im in exames

. I just want a click... please "click" me!!!

Well, although I don't think it would be right to just give you an already worked out idea, I could try to point you in the right direction. I went to gettyimages.com, and searched for "cosmetics", and lo and behold I got about 3 or 4 ideas just from looking at photographs that are related to cosmetics. Give it a try if you're really stuck for ideas.

Or....take a walk in the cosmetic section of a store.........look at packaging, colors, even smells etc........good luck:)

rinaldidesigns thanks for the tip, but for now i'll not go to cosmetics store... but in last case i'll go

When i get some results i post them here for you to criticise. Thanks again for the tips!!

I'd recommend browsing through women's magazines. You can check out other cosmetic company's ads and logos for inspiration.

I guess it really all depends in which direction you are looking to go and to who you are trying to sell. Bold and busy for the younger generation. Soft and sophisticated for the "mature".

Now im a little busy but soon i'll post some stuff.
Im checking some graphs from others just to see whats going around, but i have some ideas in my head right now StudioMeridian. Thanks for the tip lynsey!!

Use google (both normal google and google images), dictonaries, and photo websites. Try looking at competitors, etc. Or just forget about it for a while and try again later, that works sometimes

Another tip for someone who may be reading this:

I always play VISUAL word association games when I'm stuck.

Cosmetics

Cosmetics make you think of lipstick, skincare, makeup, beauty, etc.

Then visually think of those things.

Use the new words as an association. Lipstick- lips, rollon, curve of lips,

beauty- flowers, peace, love, etc.

It can go on and on and on... think of ways you can turn the words into graphics. You'll soon get ideas of what kind of logo to make.
