Does illustrator deposite the license key?

Hi folks

I started with designcontest a few days ago. I really like the mood here and I recommended this site to a friend of me.
My friend works with a cracked version of the adobe collection (as Hobby). I heared that the licensecode are deposited in all .ai / .psd / .id files... and that the printing shops may check, if the sowtware is legally activated. I said he should buy the cheap student version but my friend doesn't believe me, so I would like to hear from your knowledge.
(I work with another software.)
