I know nothing about brewing or drafting beer. So, if I saw your logo, I would recognize that the "dot" is a drop, but the black handle thing above it would confuse me.
In other words, I think that in context it works okay, but alone its a little weak.

With a different, possibly more beefy font, I think the spout could be the tip of the "s" in kegerators. Therefore making the drip a little smaller and more realistic looking. (and more like a dot) I htink doing this would make the logo flow better.

Hi, I'm not sure the drop is really easy to understand as beer !
The main thing in a beer glass, and the one that makes it easy to recognize is the "foam".
Maybe you should try this way...
