Hi all,
I see here many designers from all over the world. I beleive it will be very interesting if we describe our countries and cultures the way we see them. I was always curious to learn about different cultures and places. Maybe we can make a kind of colourful world trip :)

I live in Bulgaria, I was born here. I like a lot of thing here but the living it is kind of diffcult. We have great history. Officialy our precent country was established in 681AC. We were great country with great warriors. There are evidences even the women fighted along with the men back there. Unfortunately we were under slavery for about 700 years and this ruined a lot of things. We were comunist country after that and we are democratic republic since 1989. And now we don't know yet how to be a good democratic republic. Here is a lot of corruption and unemployment. But we have beautifull nature and sacred places from 14 century BC . We have beautifull mountains and sea side. There are places on the sea side where you can be alone on the beach (I like that). We have grat weather with four seasons. We are very friendly and open people. Here you can ask a friend anytime you are in need or just tell him your problems and he will make anything possible to help you. People help a lot even to people they don't know. We also party a lot. Here you can go to a disco on tuesday evening and it will be full. I live in Sofia (Capital of Bulgaria). There is a big dam near and a mountain. From my home I can go to the dam for 20 min with my bicycle or go fishing there or go to the mountain in 10 min. with car ( I don't like bike mountain climbing - too difficult :) ) We have some good preserved beautifull old cities. I don't think here is the most beautifull place I traveled a lot (only in Europe) and I have seen great places, but I like my country a lot. I can tell you a lot more this is just a brief:)

History:
Poland as a country built in the ninth century.
from 1386 Poland was in union with Lithuania. (1795)
From 1795 to 1918, Poland was taken over by Germany, Russia and Austria.
September 1, 1939 my country was attacked by Germany and started World War II. September 17 was also attacked Poland by Russia, the attack was the result of a secret agreement between Russia and Nazi Niemcami.W result of World War II and during the war killed about 16% of Polish citizens, many cities were destroyed, including almost completely Warsaw. After the war, Poland was charged with (like Bulgaria) Soviet influence. There was a falsification of the elections and the Communists came to power.
And like Bulgaria in 1989 we are a democratic country.
From March 12, 1999 we are in NATO.
And on April 16, 2003 in the European Union.

I do not know what to say about the country yet. I think it's a beautiful country with the Baltic Sea (beautiful beaches) in Masuria lakes, mountains and ancient cities. I live in the north of the country.

Famous people of Polish:
John Paul II (Catholic Pope)
Lech Wałęsa ( Nobel Peace Prize winner (1983))
Fryderyk Chopin(pianist)
Maria Skłodowska-Curie(scientist,the discovery of two new elements - radium and polonium. and many more(Nobel))
Tadeusz Kościuszko(his surname called biggest mountain in Australia)
Nicolaus Copernicus( astronomer who formulated a comprehensive heliocentric model of the universe, which placed the Sun, rather than the Earth, at the center)
anothers:
Hevelius, Roman Polanski, Henryk Sienkiewicz, Adam Mickiewicz, Wislawa Szymborska,

In the summer I will travel to the Balkans, hitchhiking. Among other things, I will visit Bulgaria! :D

Portugal...
"we" were the first in the New World, the first to sail around the world, apparently in latest research the first to get to Australia, the first to map the world, the first to abolish slavery and the death penalty... and soon to be the first country in the world to file for bankrupt and to close our borders for serious renovation.
Vist while you can and dont forget to tip, every cent helps.

;)

Hi!!
I live in Andalusia, particularly in Seville. Some will think in flamenco, bullfighting and sun ... lol. But there is much more behind this.

With its extensive coastline have been many civilizations throughout the centuries settled here, but certainly the most influential has been, especially in Seville, has been Islam. If any of you come to visit can't forget exploring the old town of Seville, where you can find the Giralda, the Cathedral, the Golden Tower, the Moorish district, Water the yard ... all full of narrow streets that are showing you wonderful places just around the corner. You can enjoy a sunset with a drink in the ambigu located along the Guadalquivir River.

We are very friendly people, we are always laughing and gesticulate a lot with my hands, the only bad thing is that we talk too fast and when a stranger comes, at first he fails to understand anything ... lol.
Something very typical here is not to eat at restaurants, but enjoy different tapas.

And remember if you come to Andalusia, you ought to visit the beautiful beaches we have, my favorites are those of Cadiz :), bring a good sunscreen for the summer and enjoy the people and the food, which is fantastic!

I LOVE MY LAND!

Hey!
I'm from the Gold Coast on Australia's east coast. More often than not it's sun, sand and surf. warm weather and beautiful beaches.
I love it here!

Me too. I gain strength and inspiration when I visit another country. Especially if it's some kind of exotic resort. Of course, I can hardly endure acclimatization, but the beauty of nature that I see with my own eyes covers all the difficulties from climate change. I have already visited the Seychelles and the Maldives, now I plan to go to Tahiti. After reading the article on https://tripbirdie.c...i-vs-bora-bora/ I definitely decided on the place for my vacation. This is a great resort that I once added to my wish list. And very soon my wish will come true.

I live in a democratic country. For me, it is an honor and at the same time an opportunity to reach my full potential. Since childhood, I have read and been fascinated by books about world democratic leaders. At https://writingbros....tic-leadership/ you can read some information about democratic leadership, about its impact on people's minds.
