Music is awesome, but I like to listen to music that I can feel the soul of, stuff that was made not in the pursuit of money, but purely for the love of music. I'm looking for good text and melody.
I can listen to pretty much anything, but to my favorite belong: pop-rok, pop-punk, rock, orchestral electronic, blues, jazz, folk-pop, R&B.
Some of my favorite artists: Pink, Avrill Lavigne, Hans Zimmer, Katie Melua, Brett Dennen (especailly: Aint No Reason)

depends on the situation:
Dancing - House music ...no intellectal words, just movement
In a mental rut - DrumNBass, prog House
Working on designs - rock (goth preferred) because I can sing along
When I want to think - hiphop (and not that bulshit on the radio...underground w/ real concepts)
and for those inbetween times - reggae and dub (not dubstep...that's only for the drugged times...lol)

give me jimi hendrix and my creations get better and better,love the guy
but also love to listen to eminem,metallica,slayer,the doors,eric clapton,madness,volbeat,eek a mouse and all other kinds of music
hendrix rules ..good for you, and slayer is one of my favorites bands ever...
