The only drawback is that, it will select only the parts of your design that has the same fill and stroke:D

I use it a lot to quickly select the same colours in a drawing, I usually turn the tolerence down to make sure that it doesn't select similar colours. I realise you can also go to the select menu, but I just find this quicker, just need to press 'Y' and it's there.

I never used the magic wand tool in Illustrator before today. Wow for me it's a lot easier and quicker to use than having to do Select>Same every time
