There is a useful tool in Adobe Flash that you can use to simulate download. This is a useful and handy tool specially if you want to check how flash movies are loaded on slow network speeds. To use this tool do the following:

1.Run the flash file you want to check, then go to Control- > Test Movie
2.Go to View -> Bandwidth Profiler in the Test Movie window.
3.Go to View-> Simulate Download in the Test Movie window.
4.You can adjust your download speed by going to View -> Download Settings- > and choose from the different speed options available.
