I know to set to CMYK...I know I am in that mode... If you look at my portfolio...There are two designs and both of them have the wrong colors.
Help?

When you win you will have to give the ch both cmyk and rgb logos (and a few more, but u can find this info in the knowledge database)

For anyone who does this, just a word of caution that there is a good possibility that colours will shift if you convert an RGB file to CMYK. One way to avoid this is to click on the caution icon in the color picker window so the closest CYMK colour will be chosen:What i usually do when i work on logo contests is make the logo in RGB mode, and if i win i bother with making it CMYK, also people don't expect CMYK to be exactly the same color as RGB, and if they do, you need to explain to them that it doesn't work like that

This way, you can still work in RGB mode but you will see colours as if they were in CMYK. But obviously when you are finished, switch the mode to CMYK.
And of course this is only for designs that will be printed

Hope this helps

when you open a saved vector file in lets say photoshop, open the cmyk, size to what you want, then change your mode to rgb. Once the mode has been changed to rgb you can save the jpg. Your upload will then have the correct colors you want. Those neon or off colors are the result of saving a cmyk as rgb jpg without changing the color mode
