You can upload themes, plugins, and media files to your WordPress site via FTP. To upload files to your WordPress site do the following:
1.First you need to download and install any free FTP such as FileZilla, Cyberduck or WinSCP. If you are using cPanel, you can use the available FTP manager.
2.Start a new connection in the client. Search fora "New Connection..." option from the File menu.
3.Enter your username and password you set up with the Web hosting provider. Click Enter or Connect.
4.You will see your folder after successfully login in. Open your WP folder that you want to upload to.
5.Use the Put button or drag and drop to upload the files from your computer to your server.
