To upload header images to your WordPress theme do the following:
1. Login to you WordPress site, and go to the dashboard and click "Appearanceâ€Â, and then "Header".
3. Click on the "Browse" button and locate your header image.
4. Select the image and click "Ok", then click "Upload" to upload your image.
5. Highlight the area of your image that you want to use to and click "Crop and Publish."
6. The header banner will change to the image you just cropped.

2. Try to know the height and width of the header image and create it according to your website services.
3. After that choose the Header from the Appearance and either choose the image from the computer or opt it from the existing image from the Media Library and click on the upload button.
When you upload the image in header, be sure that your image should be in .jpeg, .gif or .png format only.
