To install live effects in Adobe Fireworks 8 follow the bellow steps:
1.Close your Fireworks application.
2.Double-click on the file Live Effects ".mxp" and an Extension Manager window will display.
3. Scroll down until you find the "Fade Life Effects."
4. check the check mark next to the "Fade Life Effects".
5. close the "Extension Manger."
