You can apply the shadow effect to any object in Adobe Fireworks. Follow the below steps to apply the drop shadow effect using Fireworks:
1. Start Adobe Fireworks, and open your existing document that you want to apply the shadow effect in.
2.Select the Pointer tool from the toolbox and select the object you want to apply the shadow on. The Properties pane will display the properties for the object you selected.
3.Click "+" button next to "Filters" to display the pop-up menu. Point to the "Shadow and Glow," tool and click on the "Drop Shadow." A basic shadow will be applied to your selected object.
